A roof, however simple, between a family and the open air
When a person loses their home, they lose their first sense of safety with it. We work to restore that sense, even with a tent — a small space that shields from cold, rain and the eyes of strangers, and gives a displaced family a first step towards temporary stability amid instability.

Through the shelter programme, Dawah Relief Foundation provides safe shelter for displaced families with individual and communal tents that protect human dignity and shield people from harsh weather and exposure.

The Communal Tent
In partnership with UNICEF as lead organisation, the foundation delivered communal tents dedicated to serving displacement gatherings — safe shared spaces hosting children’s activities and common community services within the camps.

Individual Shelter Tents
for Displaced Families
Alongside the communal tents, the foundation provided separate tents for families who lost their shelter entirely through repeated displacement — an urgent step that comes before anything else, and one that preserves a family’s dignity in its hardest moments.
