Tal Al-Zuhour School
Primary and Preparatory, Co-educational

When the classroom stays standing amid the ruins

In northern Gaza, where the war destroyed entire schools, Dawah Relief Foundation chose to become the full sponsor and supervisor of Tal Al-Zuhour Primary and Preparatory School, so that the door to education would stay open for three hundred and fifty children who otherwise had no choice but to stop learning.

Dawah Relief Foundation’s sponsorship of the school is not limited to academic teaching. It extends to building a well-rounded national and humanitarian awareness through organised events, each documented in a detailed official report.

Ceremony honouring outstanding students - 17 June 2026

In conditions whose severity is hard to imagine — repeated displacement and cuts to water and electricity — our students chose to study when they could have given up, and chose excellence when surrender would have been easier. The ceremony was not only an announcement of academic success, but a public acknowledgement of their determination, while explosions sounded outside the window.
